The men’s basketball team clinched a spot in the NJCAA Region XXI Division III playoff in their last game of the regular season with a close win over MassBay 61-57. The night started off with NECC honoring their 3 sophomores Edwin Gonzalez, Chris Corey and Daniel Rivera. Once the game started these two very talented team battled the whole way.  

The fired up Edwin Gonzalez kept the team in the game with his 19 points while Elijah Mukiba contributed all around with 15 points, 18 rebounds and 3 blocked shots.

After celebrating the win the Knight’s presented their athletic assistant Brett Hanley a ball with player signatures for all his hard work throughout the season.

Friday afternoon the tournament seeding will come out.
