Knights fall in high scoring affair with Quincy College

Haverhill, MA (January 18, 2018) – Despite having five scorers in double figures the Northern Essex Community College men's basketball fell to Quincy College on Thursday night by a final score of 110-97. With the loss the Knights fell to 9-6 on the season, while Quincy improves to 15-1.

 Emir Alagoz (Istanbul, Turkey) recorded his second triple-double of the season in the losing effort with a team-high 23 points to go along with 12 assists and 10 rebounds. The four other Knights in double figures Alexa Estrella (Lawrence, MA) 22 points, Kyle Martin (Amesbury, MA) 20 points, Guney Kilitcioglu (Istanbul, Turkey) 16 points and Tom Jacobs (Tyngsborough, MA) rounded out the double figure scoring with 11 points.

 Estrella added 10 rebounds to record a double-double for the game and DJ Greenhalgh (Dracut, MA) added a career high 20 rebounds.

 Quincy's Devin Palmer was the games high scorer with 41 points.

 The Knights hit the road as they return to action on Saturday January 20th for a 3:00pm tip-off at Massasoit Community College.
