Haverhill, MA (March 15, 2021) – The Northern Essex Community College Overwatch team remains unbeaten and atop the conference standings (5-0) in spring semester action as they took a 3-0 win over UC Davis on Saturday.

Haverhill, MA (February 22, 2021) – The Northern Essex Community College esports team is off to a fast start for the spring semester as Jason McDonald (FreakyJ) of Georgetown has picked up New England Collegiate Conference Overwatch Player of the Week honors as he led the Knights to a 3-0 victory over Lincoln Land Community College.
The Northern Essex Community College athletic program will return to intercollegiate competition this spring semester. The men’s basketball and women’s volleyball teams will return to competition in February along with Esports, which is coed.
The Northern Essex Community College Department of Athletics in partnership with the Office of Admissions and Enrollment will be continuing to host Virtual Athletic Information Days through June for prospective students interested in the Knights athletic program.
Haverhill, MA (November 23, 2020) – The Northern Essex Community College Esports Overwatch team captured the inaugural New England Collegiate Conference Overwatch championship on Saturday afternoon in convincing fashion with a 4-1 victory over the Eagles of Central Methodist University of Missouri. The championship is the third in the programs history since its establishment at the start of the 2019-20 year, as the Knights captured a pair NJCAA Championships in the spring of 2020 in Rocket League and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Haverhill, MA (November 2, 2020) – The Northern Essex Community College Overwatch team has secured the top seed and a first round bye in the upcoming New England Collegiate Conference post season tournament scheduled to begin on November 14th and will be presented by HyperX following a 3-0 victory over Carrol College (IA).

Haverhill, MA (July 15th 2020) – The Northern Essex Community College Department of Athletics is pleased to announce its plans for returning to intercollegiate practice and competition for the 2020-21 athletics season in the wake of COVID-19. Following the Return to Play plans of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) for the 2020-21 sports seasons, the Knights will plan to offer all of their varsity programs during the course of the academic year.
