Haverhill, MA (October 15th, 2019) - The NECC men's soccer team picked up a 2-1 win over NHTI on Tuesday afternoon at home. The win improved the Knights overall record to 5-8-1.

In the 15th minute Michael Mbua (Cameroon) scored off a corner kick and he headed the ball into the lower right hand corner of the net. Cooper Ribaudo (Salem, NH) got the assist on the goal.

Daller Ucles (Lawrence) converted a second half penalty kick to give NECC a 2-0 lead, NHTI converted a penalty kick of their own late in the 2nd half to result in the final score.

Anthony Bellomo (Salem, NH) recorded 10 saves in the goal, picking up his 5th win of the season.

The knights are on the road Saturday, October 19th to conclude regular season play at Holyoke Community College. Game time is set for 1:00pm
