Worcester, MA (September 24, 2022) – The Northern Essex Community College women's volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 road win over Quinsigamond Community College Saturday afternoon. The Knights won by set scores of 25-5, 25-17, 25-11.
As a team, the Knights attacked at a .316. Leading the attack was Caroline Burns (Haverhill, MA) with 7 kills, followed by Ashley Martinez (Lawrence, MA) who had 5 kills of her own.
Eliany Dejesus (Lowell, MA) had 14 assists throughout the match.
Anny Lomete (Lawrence, MA) and Dejesus led the defense with 5 digs apiece.
Martinez and Burns were close behind with 3 digs each.
The Knights will be back at the Sport and Fitness center on the Haverhill Campus on Tuesday September 27th at 6pm where they will host Quinsigamond Community College.
