Haverhill, MA (April 7, 2021) – Freshman right hander Todd Tringale (Saugus) of the Northern Essex Community College baseball team has been named the NJCAA National Pitcher of the Week for the week ending April 4th for his performance over the weekend. Tringale is the second Knights pitcher to receive the honor this season as Sophomore Levi Burrill (Amesbury) earned the recognition two weeks ago.

On the season, Tringale is currently 2-0 in five appearances with a 1.93 ERA and has 15.04 strikeouts per nine innings in 23 1/3 innings worth of work on the season which currently ranks third nationally for pitchers who have thrown at least 20 innings on the season.
