Haverhill, MA (July 9th 2018) – The Northern Essex Community College Athletic Department, along with the Recreation and Fitness and Wellness Departments announced they have entered into a multi-year agreement with Under Armour.
A school record eight Northern Essex Community College student-athletes have earned Academic All-American honors for the 2017-18 year as announced Monday by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). The eight honorees is a new single year high for the Knights athletic program and they join 17 other previous winners of the award at the college.
Olivia Mullins (Plaistow, NH) and Katelyn Richardson (Wilmington, MA) of the Northern Essex Community College women's track program both competed Saturday on the final day of the NJCAA National Championships hosted by Mohawk Valley Community College.
The Northern Essex Community College women's track and field team will be represented by two athletes at next week's NJCAA National Championships that are being hosted by Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, NY from May 10-12.

Northern Essex Community College hosted its inaugural Athletics Awards Banquet on Monday, April 23, to honor the achievements of its student-athletes and one college employee.
More than 100 students, staff, family, and college administrators attended and celebrated the NECC students athletic and academic accomplishments.
The Northern Essex Community College Department of Athletics has announced it will hold an inaugural banquet for the college's student-athletes on Monday April 23rd at 6:00pm in the Hartleb Technology Center on the Haverhill campus.
In addition to a dinner and presentation of major awards, the event will feature remarks from NECC President Lane Glenn.
