Title: Pitching Coach

Ryan is returning as pitching coach for the 2024 season.  Ryan is a former Knight and played for Northern Essex Community College for two years. During his time at NECC he helped lead his team to back to back NJCAA World Series appearances and was a first team All-American his sophomore year.  After NECC, Ryan went on to play at NCAA division I school St. John’s University.  Ryan played for legendary coach Ed Blankmeyer and was guided by pitching coach Corey Muscara (current pitching coach at Wake Forest).  During his two seasons at St. John’s Ryan earned himself a spot as a starting pitcher and had a career 3.54 ERA with 112 innings pitched.  After his senior season Ryan signed a professional Contract with the New York Mets and played for two years in their minor league system.

Ryan holds an Associate’s Degree from NECC and a Bachelors Degree in Business from St. Johns University.  Ryan was inducted into the NECC Hall of Fame.
