Haverhill, MA (January 30) – Double-double efforts from Luis Reynoso (Lawrence) and Karl Wolfgang (Douala, CM) helped to push the Northern Essex Community College men's basketball team past Roxbury Community College on Tuesday evening at the Sport and Fitness Center by and 88-64 final. With the win, the Knights improve to 19-1 on the season while remaining unbeaten in Region 21 play at 14-0.

Reynoso had a game high 21 points to go along with 16 rebounds, while Wolfgang continued his strong play off the bench with 10 points and 14 rebounds.

Three other Knights added double figure scoring performances led by Kyoya Sasaki (Tokyo, JP) who tossed in 15 points, while Camill Palacioglu (Tuebingen, GR) and Darlin Santiago (Salem) both added 10 points.

With strong pressure defense, the NECC jumped out to an early 15-4 lead before taking a 51-28 lead into the locker room at halftime.

NECC will hit the road on Saturday for a battle of the regions top two teams as they take on Quincy College at 7:00pm on the campus of Eastern Nazarene College.
