
Haverhill, MA (December 3, 2024) – Sophomore Jadiel Bomfim (Nashua, NH) of the Northern Essex Community College men's soccer team was today named a men's soccer First Team All-American as announced by the national office.
For Bomfim, its his second straight First Team All American selection as he earned the honor a season ago and becomes the first member of the men's soccer program to be named a two-time All-American
In 2024, Bomfim led the Knights and Region 21 in both goals and total points with 16 and 39 respectively. His numbers included four game winning goals and four multi goal games, highlighted by a four-goal performance on September 14th against Community College of Rhode Island.
Bomfim was also named the NJCAA Player of the Week on September 18th as part of a five goal week as he added a goal in win over NHTI to go along with the four goal performance at CCRI.
Over his two seasons in the Knights uniform Bomfim finished his junior college career with 43 goals, 13 assists and 99 points.
As a team, the Knights finished the year with a 14-4 overall record and advanced to the NJCAA National Quarterfinals for the first time in program history, following Region 21 and Northeast District championships.
