Cedar Rapids, IA (November 10, 2023) – The Northern Essex Community College women's volleyball saw its record-breaking season come to an end on Friday with a 3-0 consolation bracket loss to Finger Lakes. The Knights dropped the sets 25-19, 25-23 and 25-11.

Maria Reyes (Lawrence) and Liz Exume (Chelmsford) both had a team high five kills in the match, while Telaviv Nunez (Lawrence) handed out 11 assists.

Vielka Sanchez (Lawrence) had 10 digs for the Knights.

NECC attacked at .014 for the match while the Lakers hit at .100.

The Knights wrapped up the season at 23-2 overall and captured their first Region 21 championship since 2018 to go along with their first Northeast District Championship.
