Haverhill, MA (June 7, 2021) – The Northern Essex Community College athletic program is planning a full return to competition for the 2021-22 academic year with full conference schedules against NJCAA Region 21 competition and non-conference regional competition for all 12 intercollegiate programs.
The athletic department will kick start the year on Tuesday August 10th with the inaugural NECC Athletics BBQ Knight at 5:00pm on the Haverhill campus quad outside of the Athletic Center. All new and returning student-athletes are encouraged to attend and RSVP through their head coach or Athletic Director Dan Blair (dblair@necc.mass.edu).
Also new for the 2021-22 academic year all student-athlete paperwork will be completed online, through the athletics website, www.neccknights.com. Students can click here, to access the appropriate webpage to complete all required student-athletes forms.
New students will need to provide an official copy of their high school transcript and copies of transcripts from previously attended colleges. Any student who has completed all of the required forms prior to August 1st will be entered into a gear raffle courtesy of Under Armour and NECC Athletics.

Practices for soccer, volleyball and cross country will begin in August. Information will be posted here when available. All others sports will start in September when the semester begins.
