NECC Baseball Announces Tryout Information and Fall Schedule

Haverhill, MA (August 22, 2023) – The Northern Essex Community College baseball team and head coach Jeff Mejia have announced tryout information for the upcoming season. The Knights are coming of their second straight Northeast District Championship and second consecutive and ninth overall trip to the NJCAA World Series.

Tryout Schedule:
9/6       Paperwork/Team Meeting @ NECC Fitness Center
9/8       Day 1 Skills report time 10:00 @ Haverhill Stadium
9/9       Day 2 Game Play report time 9:30 @ NECC Campus Field
9/10     Day 3 Game Play report time 9:30 @ NECC Campus Field

All student must have completed their required student-athlete paperwork prior to participating in tryouts.

The Knights fall season will run through October and will include matchups against NCAA Division I, II and III competition and will also includes the teams first ever trip to the Dominican Republic over the Columbus Weekend where they will play a set of three games.
