Knights roll to 3-0 victory over Bunker Hill on Homecoming
Haverhill, MA (October 13, 2018) – The Northern Essex Community College volleyball rolled to a 3-0 win on Saturday afternoon in front of a Homecoming crowd at the Sport and Fitness Center. With the win the Knights improve to 10-3 overall and remain unbeaten in region play.
 
Sarah Shatuck (Andover, MA) attacked at a .615 clip with eight kills while Rachel Amiss (Salem, NH)recorded 11 kills while hitting at .550. As a team the Knights attacked at .364.
 
Shattuck and Christine Ortega (Haverhill, MA) each served up five aces to lead the team that recorded 20 aces for the match. Nashaly Sanchez (Lawrence, MA) added 15 assists.
 
Defensively, Sanchez and Amiss recorded six digs while Shattuck contributed three blocks.
 
The Knights will remain home and return to the court on Tuesday at 6:30pm when they host in non-conference action NHTI.
