NECC Athletics Announces Virtual Information Sessions
July 13, 2020The Northern Essex Community College Department of Athletics in partnership with the Office of Admissions and Enrollment will be hosting Athletic Information Days beginning on Wednesday May 20th and continuing through the fall semester. -
11 earn Academic All-America honors for NECC, Volleyball team recognized
July 09, 2020Haverhill, MA (July 9, 2020) – A school record 11 student-athletes from Northern Essex Community College have earned NJCAA Academic All-America honors for the 2019-2020 academic year as announced today by the National Junior College Athletic Association. The previous record of awards in one year was eight, which was established each of the last two years. Student-athletes are eligible for the award if they successfully complete 24 or more credits in the academic year with a grade point average of 3.6 or higher.

Stratton to return as men’s basketball coach
February 27, 2020Haverhill, MA (February 27, 2020) – Northern Essex Community College has announced that Darren Stratton will return to the college as men’s basketball coach for the 2020-21 season. The announcement was made by NECC Director of Athletics Dan Blair on Thursday.

NECC Varsity Athletics 2019-20 Preseason Information
July 12, 2019Student-Athlete Orientation Night will take place on Tuesday August 13th at 6:00pm in the Hartleb Technology Center on the Haverhill Campus. All new and returning student-athletes are should attend this event.
